The Importance of Family Reunions

Members of the Hobson-Buggs family, have come together every even year since 1954 realizing the importance of creating unity, support and pride in our family.

1954 - 1st Family Reunion in Houlka, Chickasaw County, MS

We hold each other in high regard for the sacrifices and contributions made with time and energy of organizing our family reunions.

In togetherness, we strive to unify others in our Hobson-Buggs family and seek out new members.

We appreciate the gift of life and the legacy of survival passed down by our ancestors through each generation.

At the next reunion, we will once again rejoice with one another knowing that we have unselfishly contributed to the pride, dignity, heritage and unity of our family.  This is our act of love and gratefulness for our ancestors - Michael and Sophie Hobson and Ephraim and Tennessee Buggs who made it possible for us to be here today.  It's up to the descendants to continue the legacy for generations to come.

Family reunions are very important and a way of keeping the family together.
